Women Of The Word (WOW) Summer Bible Study
Spiritual Mothering Study
You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine…teach the older women…Then they can train the younger women…so that no one will malign the Word of God. ~Titus 2.1, 3-5
Do you desire deeper friendships with godly women? Do you long for someone to encourage and equip you to live for God’s glory? Do you want to know what God says about womanhood and learn to personally apply those biblical principles?
If you replied “Yes” to any of those questions, this study is for you! In the book of Titus, the church is given a biblical model for women to disciple other women. In her book Spiritual Mothering author Susan Hunt helps us understand the theological reasons for the Titus 2 mandate, how to obey this gospel imperative, and how to implement God’s strategy for women in His Church to be transformed by His grace from life-takers to life-givers.
Join us for a summer ‘book-club style’ study with facilitated discussion using Susan Hunt’s book Spiritual Mothering. We will meet:
Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the home of Marijean Morris (14903 Chadbourne Drive) and
Wednesdays from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at CEPC
through the months of June and July (except for July 2/3 and July 16/17).
Please sign up below so we can plan accordingly. Childcare is provided on Wednesday mornings. We will also order the books for you. Cost: $10.00.
