2019 Summer Mission Trips
Be sure to save the date for the mission trips below! Application packets, pricing, and much more info will be available in the coming weeks.
Camp Blessing – June 10-15. Camp Blessing provides an amazing camp experience for campers with special needs, and they need hundreds of volunteers to make each week of camp happen! This mission trip will be open to both middle and high school students! Middle schoolers will serve as “Barnstormers” and help out behind the scenes. High schoolers can serve as a one-on-one counselor with a camper! For an application packet: 2019 Middle School Mission Trip. This packet is due by Sunday, March 11, 2019.
High School – July 22-27. At the end of the high school mission trip last summer, our students shared just how much they loved getting to know and serve the city of Nashville. Then many of them expressed an interest in getting to know and love our own city in Houston! So this summer, we’ll be partnering with a ministry called The Forge, which hosts mission teams from around the country to serve in the 3rd Ward of Houston. High school students can attend both trips. For an application packet: 2019 High School Mission Trip. This packet is due by Sunday, March 11, 2019.
We place a high value on students at CEPC being a part of the larger church. For that reason, students are encouraged to attend either of our Sunday morning worship services, either at 8:30 am or 11:00 am in the Sanctuary.
Join us on Sunday mornings from 10-10:50 am in the Barn for Youth Sunday School. This time especially designed to help middle and high school students grow in their love of Christ, his Word, and his Church. We have an all-you-can-“eat” buffet of cereal, fellowship, teaching, and the Word. Youth Sunday School meets at the same time as our other adult Sunday School classes, so we encourage parents to attend one of those classes while their students are in the Barn!
Middle School & High School City Groups
One of the best ways to get plugged in at CEPC is by joining a City Group. For middle and high school students, these City Groups meet on Sunday nights!
Middle School City Group: Sundays from 5:30-6:45 pm in the Barn. Our Middle School City Group is a BLAST! We start each night with an incredibly fun game, then hear a talk from Patrick or one of our volunteers, then we meet in smaller groups to get to know each other better and encourage each other in our faith. Come hang out!
High School City Group: Our High School City Group meets from 7-8:30 pm in the Barn. We’ll have some healthy competition (like a game of Gaga Ball or Ultimate Frisbee), then a short devotional and time in small groups. This is an awesome time to get to know other high schoolers following Jesus, and to grow in our love of Christ, his Word, and his Church.
