2018 Fall Retreats
This year’s Middle School Fall Retreat is gonna be an absolute BLAST! We’re teaming up with a few other Presbyterian churches in Houston to provide an awesome weekend with a bunch of other middle schoolers. We’ll play some awesomely fun games, listen to solid Bible teaching, and just have a TON of fun together. The Middle School retreat will be Friday through Sunday, October 12-14. For more information, and to register, please click here: Middle School Retreat Registration
High schoolers! Get excited for the CEPC High School Fall Retreat! We’ll meet at the church on Friday, October 26, at 5pm, then head to Camp Blessing in Brenham, TX and play some night games, have a bon fire, relax, and make some memories. On Saturday, we’ll do the Zip Line and Giant Swing at Camp Blessing, then head to Horseshoe Junction for mini golf, go karts, and laser tag. We’ll be back at the church on Sunday, October 28, just in time for the 11:15am service. For more information, and to download a registration form, click here: High School Retreat Registration
We place a high value on students at CEPC being a part of the larger church. For that reason, students are encouraged to attend either of our Sunday morning worship services, either at 8:30 am or 11:15 am in the Sanctuary.
Join us on Sunday mornings from 10-10:50 am in the Barn for Youth Sunday School. This time especially designed to help middle and high school students grow in their love of Christ, his Word, and his Church. We have an all-you-can-“eat” buffet of cereal, fellowship, teaching, and the Word. Youth Sunday School meets at the same time as our other adult Sunday School classes, so we encourage parents to attend one of those classes while their students are in the Barn!
Middle School & High School City Groups
One of the best ways to get plugged in at CEPC is by joining a City Group. For middle and high school students, these City Groups meet on Sunday nights!
Middle School City Group: Sundays from 5:30-6:45 pm in the Barn. Our Middle School City Group is a BLAST! We start each night with an incredibly fun game, then hear a talk from Patrick or one of our volunteers, then we meet in smaller groups to get to know each other better and encourage each other in our faith. Come hang out!
High School City Group: Our High School City Group meets from 7-8:30 pm in the Barn. We’ll have some healthy competition (like a game of Gaga Ball or Ultimate Frisbee), then a short devotional and time in small groups. This is an awesome time to get to know other high schoolers following Jesus, and to grow in our love of Christ, his Word, and his Church.
