Small Groups/City Groups
One of the great things about our church is that we are a community of people from all over Houston. One of the great challenges we wholeheartedly embrace is striving to live in community with one another outside of Sunday morning. City Groups are one way we do this.
City Groups are Christ Presbyterian's version of small groups--for singles, men, women, couples, families, everyone!. Our City Groups exist for three primary purposes:
- Authentic Community
- Mutual Shepherding and Care
- An Essential Part of our Progressive Sanctification and Discipleship
Our long-term vision is to see 20 – 25 City Groups planted throughout Houston. We would love for these groups to be geographically sensitive, multigenerational, and coed (comprised of both men and women). Please contact John Rogers if you are interested in more information.
2018 Fall Kick-Off Breakfast
All men are invited to our annual breakfast to enjoy fellowship with one another at 10 am on Sunday, August 26. We will gather upstairs in Room 211 for some good food and to hear what’s planned for the Men’s Ministry for the upcoming year, including the Men’s Retreat and Men’s Bible Study. Contact Buck Oliphant at for more information.
