David comes to us by way of Reformed Theological Seminary, Houston, where he works in Admissions and Recruiting. Though he is a native-born Texan, David spent a large part coming of age between Corpus Christi, with his father, and Los Angeles, with his mother. Having grown up in the church, David was very familiar with church lingo but didn’t see what all the fuss was about. All it took was for him to just keep living to find out. On October 4, 2009, the Holy Spirit opened his eyes and showed him what life was all about: Knowing Christ. Eventually God called David to a formal theological education, and to us at CEPC as well! While studying to prepare for the office of Teaching Elder, David joyfully serves small groups, CEPC Young Adults, as well as Sunday School. He holds a BBA in Management from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, but considers himself an Aggie by extension and can usually be found somewhere around Kyle Field during football season. David is married to the love of his life, Robyn, with whom he shares three cats and a dog.
