The Angel Tree ministry of CEPC provides two opportunities for members to share the love of Christ with needy children at Christmas time. The first, Angel Tree Christmas, is a ministry of Prison Fellowship. Prisoners are given the opportunity to request Christmas gifts for their children and to send a brief greeting to them. Each child receives an item of clothing and a fun gift. Each family receives an age appropriate children's Bible and a gift card to assist with food or other necessities. The second ministry involves purchasing similar gifts for children who attend Cedar Brook and Lion Lane schools. These children are selected by school staff who are able to identify families in need. A copy of The Hope video, which presents a number of short Bible-based vignettes and clearly spells out the Gospel, is provided to each family. If you would like to purchase gifts for one or more of these children, please go sign up by using the button below. All gifts should be wrapped and tagged with the child's name and gift code and returned to the Angel Tree table at church no later than December 13. Feel free to contact Larry or Susan Dawson at 832-729-8706 if you have any questions.
